Anti Bribery And Corruption Policy
Purpose
Sekusile Technical Services is committed to conducting its business with integrity and transparency. This policy outlines the Company’s commitment to preventing and detecting bribery and corruption.
Scope
This policy applies to all employees, contractors, agents, and representatives of Sekusile Technical Services, regardless of their location or position.
Definitions
- Bribery: The offering, promising, giving, or receiving of any undue advantage or gratification, including money, gifts, or services, to or from any person, in order to influence their actions or decisions.
- Corruption: The abuse of entrusted power for personal gain.
- Facilitation payment: A payment made to expedite or secure the performance of a routine or non-discretionary government action.
Prohibited Conduct
Sekusile Technical Services prohibits all forms of bribery and corruption, including but not limited to:
- Offering, promising, giving, or receiving bribes.
- Bribing a public official or employee of a state-owned or controlled entity.
- Engaging in facilitation payments.
- Making or authorizing improper payments or donations to obtain business advantages.
- Accepting gifts or other benefits from business partners that could influence business decisions.
- Engaging in any other activity that could be perceived as bribery or corruption.
Reporting Procedures
Employees who experience or witness bribery or corruption are encouraged to report the incident immediately to their supervisor, Human Resources, or the Ethics Hotline. All reports will be handled promptly, confidentially, and impartially.
Investigation and Resolution
Sekusile Technical Services will conduct a thorough and prompt investigation of all reported incidents of bribery or corruption. The investigation will involve interviewing the complainant, the alleged perpetrator, and any witnesses. If the investigation finds that bribery or corruption has occurred, the Company will take appropriate disciplinary action against the responsible individual. Disciplinary action may include verbal warnings, written warnings, suspension, or termination of employment.
Non-Retaliation
Sekusile Technical Services prohibits retaliation against any employee who reports bribery or corruption or cooperates in an investigation. Employees who retaliate against others may be subject to disciplinary action.
Training and Prevention
Sekusile Technical Services will provide training to all employees on bribery and corruption prevention. The training will cover the definitions of bribery and corruption, the prohibited conduct, the reporting procedures, and the Company’s commitment to conducting its business with integrity and transparency.
